In this article we'll cover the methods for creating music quizzes. It will be in two parts.
1. How to make a music personality quiz
2. How to make a music trivia quiz
Part 1: How to make a music personality quiz
There are two main types of titles that work for music quizzes.
1. "What Is Your (Blank) Personality?" where you put music, rapper, performer, etc. into the blank to create a quiz that helps people find their personality.
2. "Which (Blank) Are You?" where you put "rapper" "singer" "songwriter" etc. into the blank to make a quiz where people find their personality type as it relates to someone famous.
The reason both of these quiz title types are set up this way is that people like to learn about themselves and you want to put your music personality quiz into a format where that is the expectation, that people will get to find out something about themselves.
The next part of a music personality quiz is the questions that will help you figure out what personality type someone is. If you scroll down this page you'll see a list of personality quiz questions you can use because often people get stuck when trying to come up with questions so I put those in there so you can use them.
With a music personality quiz your questions should all relate to music, ask people which performer is their favorite, how they like to enjoy music, things like that.
You want your questions to help you figure out what type of person someone is, so they should be dividing in the sense of depending on which answer choice you pick you are quite different from the other answer choices.
The question to the right is a perfect example.

Setting up scoring for your personality quiz
The way a personality quiz works is that every answer choice on each question corellates to one or more of the personality types of the quiz.
As someone goes through the quiz and selects answer choices they'll be accumulating corellations to the different personalities, and whichever personality has the most corellations once they've answered all the questions is the one that will be shown as their result.
(Optional) Use Your Quiz To Build Your Email List
With interact quiz maker there is an option to use your quiz as an opt-in to build your email list. If you enable this feature there will be an email capture form that comes up after the last question of your quiz but before the results are shown.
This opt-in form averages a 50% conversion rate which is super high, and that's because the opt-in is actually useful to the person taking the quiz since you can customize it to let people opt-in in order to receive more personalized suggestions based on which result they get in your quiz.
Quiz Results (Personalities)
After someone answers all the qeustions they'll be shown a personality as their quiz result.
In this section of the quiz you really just want to tell people how great they are because of the personality type they got.
Every single personality quiz result is super positive, and that's because people tend to share things that are positive a lot more than negative. If you write something that is uplifting then people will share your quiz and that will get more people to see the quiz and take it.
Your results should be pretty short, just a couple sentences is enough to provide a description and be positive.

Part 2: How To Make A Music Trivia Quiz
For music trivia quizzes there are so many awesome possibilities. You can test people on their knowledge of all sorts of things like...
Really any topic of music or artist you can think of can be turned into a trivia quiz because all you have to do is come up with a list of questions based on facts about the topic and that turns into a trivia quiz for the area.
Trivia questions are easy. Here's my formula for coming up with good ones.
First, I find a list of facts about the subject of my quiz.
Second, I write a question to see if you know the fact that I chose off the list.
Third, I come up with wrong answers to include to throw people off. This is the hardest part, and what you can do is just come up with options that are similar to the right answer but slightly different and have those as the wrong answers.
I recommend 7-15 questions in your music trivia quiz.

With interact you can ask for an opt-in in order to show the results of your quiz (always optional).
In order to maximize the amount of people who opt-in to your quiz you'll want to say "Enter Your Email To See Your Score" Then you'll say "And get more information about (topic of quiz)"
Because the opt-in is relevant to the topic of the quiz and you're already taking the quiz you're definitely interested in learning more so you'll be much more likely to opt in to see your score and also to get more information about the topic of the quiz.
This is a contextually relevant opt-in and will work very well.
When you show someone their result (score) on the quiz you can also show a description of the outcome.
Additionally you can include a button they can click on to learn more or to enroll in a course or get more information from you.
You can also show an answer key of al the questions and which ones the person got right and wrong. This way the quiz taker will get to see an overall view of how they did.
In your quiz results you'll want to take advantage of the fact that these pages are unique and give people additional information they can check out about their score.
