Getting Started with Your ChatGPT Prompts
All the prompts you’ll need to create this quiz are in this Interact blog post: Make a Quiz with AI (ChatGPT4)
We recommend copying and pasting the prompts from this blog post each time you make a quiz because we update the prompts based on the latest version of ChatGPT.
First, scroll down a bit in the above blog to select the type of quiz you want to make:
Today, we’ll make a personality quiz because the different answers will relate to a specific result we want quiz-takers to get.
Once you click “Personality Quizzes,” you’ll see all the prompts you need in order on the following page, outlined in purple blocks:
The highlighted text within the purple block is a modifier—the content you’ll replace with your own information to make your specific quiz.

Learning ChatGPT Settings for a Skillset Quiz
We prefer the OpenAI playground version for creating quizzes because it offers a user-friendly interface. OpenAI allows for easy customization and prompt engineering, resulting in a more personalized quiz experience.
Here’s a look at the precise settings we use:
You’ll use two sections in the playground:
- The system section, where you will copy and paste the ChatGPT prompts for the Interact blog post.
- The assistant section, where ChatGPT will write the quiz for you.
Skillset Quiz Prompt Engineering
Quick side note: The prompts in the system section may look different than what you’re copying and pasting from the blog post. This is because we keep the blog post updated based on ChatGPT updates. We want to ensure that our prompts work best based on ChatGPT’s changes over time.
Now let’s create our quiz title.
Once you have a title, it’s time to figure out which outcomes to point people toward.
We used the following prompt to create our outcomes:
Which then resulted in the below output from ChatGPT (note: not all of the outcomes are pictured below):
Next, copy and paste the question prompt, and then ChatGPT will write out all the questions and answers for your quiz. It will give you the score (result) under each answer:
ChatGPT is essentially creating the quiz logic for you.
When you make the Skillset quiz in Interact, you’ll know when you create Answer A, you should set the logic to correlate with “Bookkeeper,” and Answer B should correlate with the “Virtual Assistant” result.
This quiz logic steers quiz-takers to a business or career based on their skill set, which helps ensure they receive the best result based on their answers to your quiz questions.
Once you have your questions, copy and paste the prompt to get the opt-in form information. Here is our response from ChatGPT:
After someone answers your quiz questions, they’ll see the opt-in form where they can subscribe to your list. In this case, ChatGPT is recommending we say, “Ready to join our
email list?”
We typically prefer a more creative output, which leads to a good point:
- If ChatGPT recommends content you think you could write better yourself, then absolutely do that.
Throughout this entire process, remember that you know your customers and business best. You can either resubmit the prompt to get a new idea or rewrite the text to say what you want.
For example, on the quiz opt-in form, you want to compel people to subscribe. The phrase “Ready to join our email list?” is not a persuasive statement. If your customers have no context about what they will get by subscribing, they will probably not subscribe.
Here are two potential options for this specific quiz:
- Ready to find the career of your dreams?
- Ready to up-level your skillset?
Describe how subscribing to your emails will help your customers. The messaging should align with the emails they’ll get because it allows the right people to subscribe, and they will look out for your emails.
Last up is the description—this goes back to the cover page of your quiz. We put this prompt at the end to wrap up everything ChatGPT created.
If you’ve followed all the ChatGPT prompts from the Interact blog post, the short description should summarize the quiz.
Congratulations! You have created the Skillset quiz with ChatGPT!
Adding Your Skillset Quiz to Your Interact Account
Once you’ve followed all the ChatGPT prompts and ChatGPT has written your quiz for you, the next step is to add the information to your Interact account. You’ll want to know what needs to be copied and pasted and where and how to set up the quiz logic.
Final Glance at Your Skillset Quiz
After you’ve finished building out your quiz in Interact, this is what it will look like:
Above is the cover page, where quiz-takers can click “Take Quiz.” Your leads will be able to start answering your questions.
Once they have answered the questions, below is how they’ll see the opt-in form, where they can subscribe and get their quiz result
Remember, you can add your own call to action here. Once somebody completes your quiz, we recommend you suggest a next step. You could let your customers know to check their email or add a call to action. A call to action could include a web page you want them to visit, a challenge you want them to sign up for, a strategy call, etc.
