I’ve had the pleasure of working alongside Marley’s Mutts dog rescue building quizzes for quite some time now. We reached out to them after our past success doing dog-based quizzes with other non-profits. It’s been an incredible experience as we’ve driven more than 4,000 new email subscribers through quizzes and a multitude of new donations from Facebook.

As a company, Interact has to charge for our product, that’s how we stay afloat as a business, it’s required. Admittedly, it’s easy for companies like us to become obsessed with the numbers and forget about the people who we serve, but stories like Marley’s Mutts are amazing reminders of what we’re able to do as a brand.

Marley’s Mutts was started by Zach Skow, he’s an amazing person with a transformative story in which dogs literally saved his life after years of substance abuse, and now he’s dedicated his life to putting abandoned dogs in loving homes where everyone benefits. His story and the mission of Marley’s Mutts is so inspirational that they’ve amassed more than 500,000 Facebook followers, and have a loving audience.

When we reached out to Marley’s Mutts, Zach and team had been exploring options for getting some of that audience over to an email list that would be more consistent and easier to turn into donations (Marley’s Mutts is fully funded by follower donations). Despite the massive social following, the Marley’s Mutts mailing list was only 8,000 people at the beginning of 2016, just before we came on the scene.

Marley’s Mutts uses our done-for-you service, in which we do everything from creating quiz content to the autoresponder in Constant Contact that welcomes new subscribers. We just send Zach a link and he posts it on Facebook once a month. We’re now driving 1,000 new subscribers per month with quizzes.

It’s a beautiful thing when cases like this happen with Interact. Not only is our solution delivering beyond the expectations of the customer, but we get to be a part of an incredible mission that’s helping people and animals every single day. I’m grateful to be a part of it and love that we can be a part of the journey for organizations like Marley’s Mutts.
