Your Root Chakra is imbalanced.
The energy of this chakra lays the foundation for all your energy systems. It governs safety and security, as it relates to our most basic survival needs and sense of belonging. Physically, it is centered around your hip area and the base of your spine.
Release your fear of not having enough. Recognize that you will be able to eat when you want and you will have access to food when you need it. If you grew up in less fortunate circumstances, in a family where you had to fight to get your share at the table, or with parents for whom food was scarce at one time, you may now have to overcome this "lack" mentality.
Red Rose, Red Iris, Angelica, Shooting Star
Vetiver, Cinnamon, Sandalwood
Red Jasper, Carnelian, Ruby, Bloodstone, Hematite
Since red is the color of this chakra, all red foods help boost and balance its vibration, including red apples, red pears, red cherries, strawberries, red tomatoes, radishes, red- skinned potatoes, red beets, red onions and red bell peppers. The lycopene found in tomatoes is a protective antioxidant. Beets assist in healthy red blood cell formation, which is critical to the distribution of oxygen throughout the body.
Your Sacral Chakra is imbalanced.
The sacral chakra holds the energy of your creativity. Creativity comes in many different forms, including thinking creatively and finding new, innovative approaches for any undertaking. This chakra also governs self-worth, desire, sexuality and sensuality. Physically, the sacral chakra is centered just below your navel, in your lower abdomen, and it includes your reproductive organs.
Prepare your own meals as much as possible, which reinforces the notion that you are worthy of proper nourishment. Tune in to and feel aligned with specific foods and dishes, and be aware of which foods are calling to you on any given day. Prepare your food lovingly and in a relaxed way. Simple is totally fine.
Hibiscus, Wild Iris, Pomegranate, Indian Paintbrush
Jasmine, Neroli, Orange Blossom

Because the element associated with this chakra is water, hydration is key to keeping movement at an optimal level in your body. Fluids are essential for flushing out old waste and toxins through your kidneys and bowels.
Your Solar Plexus Chakra is imbalanced.
Balanced energy in this chakra gives you the "fire," confidence and inspiration to accomplish what you seek to do. The relationship between your sense of self and the external, material world plays out here. Energies related to your career, business affairs and personal ambitions are processed through this chakra. Physically, this chakra is centered in your gut, or solar plexus, which is the area right above your navel.
This chakra's element is fire, and it is responsible for the transformative processes involved in digestion. Be sure to eat raw plant foods at the beginning of each meal, such as green salads and veggie sticks, as these are filled with enzymes, water and fiber, and improve digestion all around.
Sunflower, Buttercup, Wall Flower, Saguaro Cactus
Lemon, Grapefruit and Juniper
Topaz, Citrine, Amber
You need enough "digestive" fire to ensure that you are absorbing nutrients and breaking down food to the maximum extent possible. Include foods with warming properties, such as ginger, cayenne, turmeric and cinnamon, in your diet regularly.
Your Heart Chakra is imbalanced.
The energy of this chakra is derived from pure, unconditional and expansive love, compassion and empathy. The heart chakra is the first of what are considered the more ethereal, higher vibration chakras, the ones that correspond to air or space or to no element at all and reside higher up on the spine. The heart chakra is anatomically located right in your chest, around your physical heart.
When you eat in a loving, compassionate, relaxed and open atmosphere, you actually digest your food better. Share your meal with your loved ones, or if you are eating alone, enjoy your food in a non-rushed, peaceful way. Avoid talking about politics or stressful work or family issues while eating. Treat your meals, even when brief, as sacred time.
Bleeding Heart, Nootka Root, Borage
Rose, Carnation and Lily of the Valley
Rose Quartz, Diamond, Peridot
Since green is the main color vibration of the heart chakra, you can guess which foods are most important for this chakra! Green foods vibrate with the frequency of nature and cultivate healing. Leafy greens, including spinach, kale, chard, romaine, mustard greens, arugula, mâche, mixed greens, collard greens and others, will help open up the heart chakra. Other beneficial green foods include broccoli, brussels sprouts, chlorella, spirulina, green cabbage, sprouts, bok choy, green peppers, green beans, scallions, zuc- chini, green apples and various herbs.
Your Throat Chakra is imbalanced.
This chakra governs self-expression, self-knowledge and communication. It enables us to gain wisdom from our inner truth and experiences, rather than relying on analytical sources alone. Through the throat chakra we allow our authentic expression to flow through us and into the world. Physically, this chakra is centered in our throat area.
Physically connect with your foods the minute you start to smell them and put them in your mouth. Chewing thoroughly is key, not only for the assimilation of nutrients, but also for a truthful connection to what you are doing at that exact moment.

ESSENTIAL OILS: Blue Chamomile, Gardenia, Ylang Ylang
CRYSTALS: Turquoise, Blue Agate, Aquamarine
FOODS: There aren't too many foods that correspond to this chakra's color, which is blue, but not dark shades of blue (darker blues, such as the blue of blueberries, belong to the Third Eye chakra). Foods that are balancing for the energy of this chakra often combine different elements, like water and earth, from the other chakras. Soups, stews, fruits with a high water content, and sea vegetables are examples of such foods.
Your Third Eye Chakra is imbalanced.
Your third eye's energy is associated with higher intuition, perception, insight, wisdom, dreams and psychic abilities, as well as with visualization, focus and concentration. Tuning in here will enable you to purify ego-based, limited and selfish attitudes and tap into your higher self. Physically, this chakra is located behind the center of the forehead. It represents the "inner vision" and is not associated with a specific element.
When you talk to people, try to tune in to more than their words. Notice their body language, the expression in their eyes. Determine their emotional or mental state based on more than what they say. Don't judge them in any way, but just focus on being more present and "seeing" more with your inner vision. As you practice this, it will foster more powerful and effective communication with your friends, family and coworkers.

Lavender, Heliotrope, Camphor, Sweet Pea

Certain spices, herbs and spice blends, such as ginger, turmeric and curry, have stimulating qualities, but they are also protective. They help balance blood sugar levels and have anti-inflammatory properties.
Your Crown Chakra is imbalanced.
The energy of Sahasrara is associated with feeling the unity between oneself, universal energy and a divine presence. It sits on the crown of the head and represents all-encompassing energy. Though it's technically not considered a chakra, we characterize it as such here. It is not associated with an element.
Stay curious to cultivating new knowledge and experiences, as this keeps energy flowing freely. To help open new pathways and neurons in your brain, take up crossword puzzles and/or brain games, or take a class in a subject that interests you.
Lotus, Dahlia, Orchid, Passion Flower, Silversword
Jasmine, Sandalwood, Violet, Elemi, Lotus
Adhering to the principle of eating 80 percent alkaline-forming foods, which increases the oxygen circulating in the body, is of utmost importance. Eating this way also fosters greater detoxification, the removal of heavy old matter, and this makes more room for lightness and space to circulate through the body.
