Or if you do, her intensely virtuous plans create too much hunger, deprivation and suffering so you can’t stick to them. SAINT has no flexibility for exceptions or slip ups… a missed workout or a 200 calorie cookie are seen as catastrophes. Notice that ALL of these moves provoke SINNER to take over.
SINNER agrees with SAINT that slips are terrible, and thinks all is lost, so she might as well be really bad. SINNER goes overboard when she is at the wheel, because she knows she will get locked back up again once SAINT regains control. So SINNER has “Last Suppers” before another diet, and crams extra in while she can. Notice that ALL of these moves provoke SINNER to take over.

The SPREAD THINSTER gives her time, energy, focus and willpower to work, family and other commitments. She is running on fumes for her weight wellness journey… and turns to food as a reward and energizer during long hard days. This hijacker also finds it hard to say No to others, or ask them to pitch in. She comes last on her list… her food, movement, rest, play, belonging and meaningfulness suffer from lack of thought, time and energy!
