You Need: Some Savvy Feel-Good Skills Around Internet Platforms
Opinions around social media are becoming kinda, controversial.... Is there connection? Is there not? Is all this comparison healthy? Is it enabling us from truly connecting?
My thoughts: It is what you make it. It is what you decide it is.
Let me share with you my first skill to making my favorite social media platform, Facebook, more enjoyable.
1) Clean up your friends list and go on a deleting spree.
2) Throughout the week, when someone you are friends with posts something that is negative, or simply, just something you do not wish to see... click the little arrow on the right side of the post and click "unfollow". This allows you to remain friends with them on Facebook, without their bullshit clogging up your feed!
^^^ doing this allows you to customize your Facebook wall with things you want to see. i.e; my Facebook wall is filled with puppies, yoga, and entrepreneurs in my industry that inspire me... & some that even trigger me or challenge me.
3) Use your Facebook as a way to get visible in your business. This does not even mean you have to share a sales post everyday... It just means being real and showing up. Facebook Lives are a great way to get in front of your friends list and share with them your opinions, stories, and what you are up to in business.
But hey, maybe you just need a platform to speak on to share your gifts that isn't your own? If this feels true, I'd invite you to come hang out in my FREE online community, The Meraki™ Maven Entrepreneurs, to explore your gifts further, explore your desires, and learn how to showcase your unique gifts online.
