Business right now feels like a bit of a struggle, I get it. The lack of direction leaves you with a lack of focus. The lack of focus, leaves you wandering about on the interwebs searching for inspiration.
You may even feel called to keep over-learning and over-investing... even though you may be experiencing the lack of cash flow you desire in your business. You are searching for that "one-thing" that'll take your hot-mess-hobby to that hell-yes-hustle.
I get it, because I've been here. (and more than once...)
But, let me tell you a secret: There are no rules to succeeding in your business. You just need to be *crystal-fregin-clear* on what it is you want.
So grab a journal and a pen and ask yourself one basic, but transformative question. (Because in business, we build from the bottom up).
1) What do you REALLY want, desire, and need?
These questions are the essentials to Clarity 101. More times than not, asking yourself this very fundamental question will bring you to your big AHA light-bulb moment.
Later on this week, I will be sending you some more tips on how to get clarity around what you want most in life and business. I also want to send you a free gift- How To Create A Meraki™ Statement.
In the meantime, come hang out in my FREE online community, The Meraki™ Maven Entrepreneurs, to connect with other aspiring entrepreneurs who are getting clarity around their unique gifts!
Okay, so let me answer your first question here: No, you do not need pink hair like this boss babe in the photo to stand the F out in your business. (Although hey, it may look amazing on you too).
But anyway, you know what you do need? A bold brand.
Your content is good, because it's infused with YOU and your unique gifts. But it may be time to spice it up with more of YOU to get really visible and get in front of your ideal client/student/customer. And I know you may have some effed up beliefs around what a brand is... who doesn't, right? But you have the ability to shift these beliefs and buy into a new story. So here is one for you:
Your brand, at it's essence, is an extension of your highest self.
Because your market is NOT saturated. There is not another one of YOU out there.
It's not always easy being bold and getting visible, because well, it can be scary. But I assure you, it's much easier than you are making it right now! So I'm going to send you some more tips and tricks about building a bold brand in a couple days. First, ask yourself: what is holding me back from being my bold authentic self?
& In the meantime, come hang out in my FREE online community, The Meraki™ Maven Entrepreneurs, for some inspiration around branding and get to getting your bold badass self out there!
You want to stand out. You don't want to sound like everyone else. You don't want to sound cheesy and sales-y. And I get it, you are tired of creating content just for the sake of creating it, or because you heard you have to send out X amount of emails a week to be successful. All those rules are BS, and you can create it in anyway you want as long as it's valuable & intentional.
One thing I am so grateful to have learned from my first business-coach was the importance of VALUE packed and PURPOSEFUL content. Your content has to add value to your client's life. It has to be captivating. It has be to thoughtful. And most of all, it has to have a purpose. You can have the bold-est brand of the land, and have the fanciest website ever... but if your content does not engage your audience, you will struggle building the business of your dreams.
So, before your next post on social media, or the next email you send out to your list, or the next package/program/product you create for your people... ask yourself "why am I sharing this?" (Like, does your content add value and have a purpose?).Now, I'll let you focus on that one for a bit before I send more tips and tricks for creating content in the next couple days.
In the meantime, I'd like to invite you to come hang out in my free online community, The Meraki™ Maven Entrepreneurs, where you can join other soulful entrepreneurs for fun challenges and conversations that'll stimulate growth in your business.
You Need: Some Savvy Feel-Good Skills Around Internet Platforms
Opinions around social media are becoming kinda, controversial.... Is there connection? Is there not? Is all this comparison healthy? Is it enabling us from truly connecting?
My thoughts: It is what you make it. It is what you decide it is.
Let me share with you my first skill to making my favorite social media platform, Facebook, more enjoyable.
1) Clean up your friends list and go on a deleting spree.
2) Throughout the week, when someone you are friends with posts something that is negative, or simply, just something you do not wish to see... click the little arrow on the right side of the post and click "unfollow". This allows you to remain friends with them on Facebook, without their bullshit clogging up your feed!
^^^ doing this allows you to customize your Facebook wall with things you want to see. i.e; my Facebook wall is filled with puppies, yoga, and entrepreneurs in my industry that inspire me... & some that even trigger me or challenge me.
3) Use your Facebook as a way to get visible in your business. This does not even mean you have to share a sales post everyday... It just means being real and showing up. Facebook Lives are a great way to get in front of your friends list and share with them your opinions, stories, and what you are up to in business.
But hey, maybe you just need a platform to speak on to share your gifts that isn't your own? If this feels true, I'd invite you to come hang out in my FREE online community, The Meraki™ Maven Entrepreneurs, to explore your gifts further, explore your desires, and learn how to showcase your unique gifts online.
