Hobby Blogger
Many people are part-time bloggers and love it as a hobby! Here are three tips for keeping your blog a hobby.
First, stay focused on the basics. Use a simple design and don't mess around with the code. Rather than be distracted by graphics and layout keep focused on creating consistent, high-quality content for your readers.
Second, keep to a posting schedule but create one you can keep up with. Nothing too ambitious here. And this goes to social media platforms too. Only be on the ones you enjoy and can keep up with.
Third, be realistic. You don't have a lot of time to put into your blog so don't expect it to be the next big thing. If you don't have time to build relationships with brands or write sponsored posts, then don't. Just don't. If you can't make it out to all the media events or keep up with your Pinterest tribes then don't! Bow out and don't expect too much from your blog. You don't have to do it all.
