Soldier
This sound is direct, assertive and solid. This quality in the voice makes you appear strong, in control and dominant. When there is an imbalance or disconnect here, the voice tends to push and be too aggressive and will power driven to the point where there might be vocal injury. It is easy to get stuck in and feels very square and commanding. When balanced it can be a very satisfying sound that feels secure, heroic and protective. It is; the out breath, the ability to act and gets things done, and it is a dominant, commanding and controlling voice.
Strength: This energy is set to build, maintain and protect us all and our societal structures. It is the basis for all community building songs like Anthems and Traditionals. It is the archetypical voices of soldiers, the firefighters, the policemen and the construction workers. Its the energy that says ‘I got this’ and acts with resolve, for example run toward danger to save and protect, motivated by fear and a sense or duty and honor. Equally selfless as the nurturer, but for the sake of the community, the societal structures, their belief systems, and to take control over the circumstances and maintain or reestablish status quo.
Weaknesses: It can be hard to accept physical limitations and with will power it will ignore and override the bodies signals, there is also an insensitivity to others that are not like it - a tendency to an overly active judging mind. Loss of control and things that leave you unable to act and make you powerless can tear this tower of strength down. Sitting still and thinking or talking about things instead of ‘doing’ can be infuriating or debilitating - this is the ‘lets go to war and conquer’ energy, and I think that most of the time that is a weakness, but if it is not actual, literal war, but rather an attitude it might serve you well in life. There is a rigidity to change of all kinds and change is perceived as a threat
