Not Pivotal Moment
Thank you for completing the pivotal moments questionnaire. Based on your results it seems unlikely that you are at a career pivotal moment. You can be bored or dissatisfied in your job without it being a pivotal moment. It may still be appropriate for you to make some changes.
1. It might still be time for something new: You may want to reflect on new growth opportunities – either within your existing job or by changing roles. Sometimes you can get bored in your job. It just means that your work is not challenging enough for you anymore. And that it is time to attract new projects or responsibilities.
Or if that is not possible to find a new role where you have new space to grow. So, ask yourself:
‘Has your current job become too small for you?’
‘If so, what would you like to develop into next?’
‘What is one step you can take first thing tomorrow morning towards that?’
2. Are you just tired? Work often is stressful and sometimes we have just been pushing too much for too long. As a result, our motivation goes down. So maybe it is time for a bit of a break. Or some good old TLC. Listen inside to what you need and go do that.3. Are things difficult at work? It could be that there are situations or people at work that are draining. It may be that you could benefit from new tools to deal with these properly. Think about whether what new skills you might need.
