Your child loves one-on-one time with you. It may be hard to find quality time with each child if you have more than one, but your undivided attention is very important. This could be as simple as reading a book, helping with homework, or playing catch.
Your child loves when you help him/her. Each child is different and will respond to difference acts of Service differently. Some may like when you teach them something new, like a new sport or hobby. While others enjoy when you help with homework or other tasks.
Your child feels loved when you give him/her gifts. A small trinket in a lunchbox, a new ball for having a great game, or a pack of gum just because. Small little gifts every now and then will go a long way.
