As a Business User, you are consistently focused on evaluating, understanding, and optimizing the operations of your area of ownership, which could be a retail store, a hospital, a scrum team, or any other structured area of an enterprise. You work closely with your executive sponsors and analysts to properly define, calculate, and organize key performance indicators (KPIs) for display within a Dossier. You use the trusted Dossiers available to find, gather, and take action on key business insights by sharing your data and findings with executive sponsors and other key stakeholders.
As an Administrator, you are the central cog in the machine that is the Intelligent Enterprise. You ensure the proper architectural planning of an Intelligence Architecture, execute the installation/upgrade configuration of its various components, as well as ensure the proper management of access and availability, balancing this with performance and cost considerations. You act as gatekeeper, facilitator, and custodian of the Intelligent Enterprise.
You are the intermediary that ensures the findings of your Enterprise’s Analysts are consumed by your key stakeholders. You ensure that all datasets are properly linked and consistent, while also validating Dossier organization and maintaining consistent naming conventions. You empower Analysts through the creation of advanced metrics, while also thinking of Business Users and Executive Sponsors by providing consistent formatting and intuitive navigation to arrive at their desired answers.
As an Analytics Architect, you are exposed and asked to leverage an ever-growing list of data sources within your Intelligent Enterprise. You are focused on making sure these data sources are available in MicroStrategy, as well as defining their data structures and relationships for advanced data queries. Likewise, you make sure these ever evolving data sources can be implemented as part of a secure, performant, and scalable single source of truth across your Intelligent Enterprise.
As an Identity Architect, you strive to ensure the security of the assets within your Intelligent Enterprise, both physical and logical. You prevent the exposure of confidential information to those outside of your organization. You monitor the use of secured assets within your organization to identify abnormal usage patterns symptomatic of security breaches. Empower members of your Intelligent Enterprise to utilize your Identity Architecture for communication and access to critical systems.
