CONSULTATIVE
A consultative (aka participative) leader is one who listens to input from her team when making decisions about goals, strategy, process, etc. This style focuses on using the talents and ideas of others. However, the leader still maintains control and retains the final decision-making authority. Consultative leaders don't typically make major decisions without first asking for input from those impacted. Consultative leaders:
Seek input from the team regarding goals, strategy, decisions, etc.
Function as a facilitator and not a dictator to issue directives and get things done
Is highly interested in stimulating creativity and innovation
