Unbalanced Meals
Unbalanced meals leave us grabbing for more food than needed and often less than optimal choices. This in turn causes dips in blood sugar; think mood swings, intense cravings and weight issues - both under and over.
Strive to eat three complete meals daily and consume fats (avocado, coconut, nuts & seeds, etc) during snack time. This will keep you satisfied and hunger-free so you will not feel the need to eat sugary snacks at odd times.
A balanced diet rich in protein, fat, minerals, vitamins, and fiber can ensure a balanced glucose level in the bloodstream. Your three daily meals are also very crucial and must be at certain intervals during the day to keep the glucose levels in balance. Eating too many carbohydrates without a balance of protein and fats will increase the glucose level while eating too little will cause it to decrease; therefore, a moderate, balanced diet is necessary for a healthy body.
