Ask if they need you to write a note to their teacher explaining how their chronic headaches and stomach aches this past week have been affecting their sleep. I mean really, they have been really not feeling well.

Ask if they are proud of that grade. If so, you'll let it be. And if not, you'll ask what they're plan to bring it up is.
NOT GOOD. Ugh...it's hard to sleep the night because I'm anxious to wake up.

Fine. Routined. You ask, they ignore. You ask again, they ignore- again. You ask one last time, but then it's too late and you scream "GO GET YOUR SHOES ON NOW!" they FINALLY do it and then you go. Wash. Rinse. Repeat.
