What's that? A horrible industry that thrives on and exacerbates the gap between the unreasonably wealthy and normal human beings is disintegrating? That's right! And it's all thanks to you! You, like many of your Millennial and Gen Z peers, don't see the point in things like golf, napkins, and all those other useless industries Boomers claim you're killing. Maybe you are, but who cares? Golf is so. freaking. boring.
You dare to have a point of view, and the Boomers claim this makes you a special snowflake. Damn right you are! Not in the dismissive, invalidating way the Boomers mean it, but in the genuinely unique, interesting, vulnerable way. Older generations seem to be avoiding taking any responsibility for the state of things by suggesting that Millennials and Gen Zs are simply weak and overanalyze everything, when in reality, people like you are incredibly strong, and you see the truth, even when that truth isn't pretty.
You are on your phone far too much. I mean, back in my day, people had real conversations with each other, and blah, blah, blah.
Basically, you know how to actually use a smartphone, and older incompetent people find this offensive. Even though the world is kind of crumbling around us, it is also more fascinating and connected than ever before, and you thrive in this environment. You are succeeding despite all the damage the Boomers and Gen Xs did to the economy, environment, government, etc. and that makes them mad. Good. Keep thriving, friend.
You're just so entitled! You want to pay reasonable prices for healthcare, you think everyone deserves food and a roof over their head, and you aren't quiet about it. How terrible. Seriously, you are the kind of strong spirit we need in this world. You have a moral code, and it revolves around helping the people around you who haven't been as lucky as you have in terms of surviving our current political and economical environment. That's awesome, don't let the Boomers convince you otherwise.
