Here are some starting tips:
1. Check your weight at the same time each day and record.
2. Drink the recommended amount of water each day. This should be about 15.5 cups (3.7 liters) of fluids for men and about 11.5 cups (2.7 liters) of fluids a day for women.
3. Keep a food journal.
4. Stay positive and realistic with your goals. Use the SMART goal format to set short and long term goals.
