You have been hurt and traumatised by a situation that occurred in your past that really messed you up. Did somebody steal from you?
Did somebody take advantage of your generosity? Did your parents fight about money or even lose their wealth / home / job? Maybe somebody took advantage of you and you secretly vowed to never EVER let that happen again.
In your mind money became a bad thing, having it became unsafe and you seem to be charged with wild emotions around money.
You may have unbalanced energy in your belly, low back and / or throat area as your personal power and voice may be held back. It’s time to become empowered again and let go of old traumas that have left you jaded.
You may find it beneficial to work through the trauma that caused this disconnected and highly emotional relationship with money. Do you need to forgive yourself for what happened? Do you need to face somebody and speak your truth to them?
Try this: Write a letter to the person or about the situation that has caused you to become jaded about money. Pen and paper works best. After you've written the note burn it and have a moment of letting go.
Wanting the best things in life is a high priority to you.
You get all the things that make you feel stylish and are on trend, perhaps new clothes, shoes, hair, sunglasses, bags, the cars, latest technology, latest phone, you love eating out and going for drinks with friends and the hottest vacation spots are all on your agenda.
You tend to manifest things really easily. Amazing things keep showing up in your life! You have a high wealth frequency but be careful that you don't burn through your money as fast as it came along!
You might not realise when you're overspending because you're having so much fun - which is great and you should enjoy your moolah! However, it might make sense for you to spend a little time working on increasing your savings and paying attention to your finances a little bit more.
When was the last time you really looked at all of your money including credit cards, interest rates, cost of living and income? Try sitting down and looking at where you spend the most money. It's not necessarily to cut back, it's just about bringing it into your awareness. The more aware you are of your financial situation, the more you will be able to manifest with ease!
You are so tired of following everybody else’s rules and you just want to be free from the grips of the world. You desire to go against the rules, government, limiting systems - even a traditional 9-5 job feels like hell to you.
You might take an interest in conspiracy theories and probably feel like money isn't important.
You may dream of being swept away by a group of likeminded friends or living off grid and being fully self sustained. You will go against the grain as much as possible and when it comes to money, you want to live in the moment and couldn't give two shits about retirement funds - you’ll probably be dead before you’re 65 anyway right?
What’s more non-traditional than not caring about money? You seen to attract it as you need it but don’t ever seem to have an abundance of it leftover or saved. You don’t really pay attention to money because you always have enough or know how to get it for your immediate desire.
You’re realising as you are maturing that you want a bit of a different relationship with money. Maybe some savings would be nice. Maybe you need to do your taxes that have built up over years. Maybe you want to be more generous in the near future. If you have money, you like to use it to stand up for others who don't have a voice.
How about you take the desire to stand up for others and think about how you could change the world with more resources. Imagine you won a million - how could you use it in a way that feels good to you? Journal your thoughts!
So many ideas! Your mind is so busy it feels like it could explode with genius ideas.
Where do you start? How do you accomplish your dreams when there are so many. How do you use your money to create a business? Where do you get more money? How will your idea make money? How will you transition out of your job so you can finally do your passion full time?
You may find that you're the type of person who starts lot of things but doesn't see it through. You may get 'shiny object syndrome' and keep spending money on new ideas or concepts. Perhaps you keep buying different domains for your 'future business'.
You’ve probably been dabbling in different kinds of creativity for years and you’ve put a ton of money into hobbies, creative ventures and starting new things.
In fact, you’ve probably started so many things that you honestly don’t trust yourself to go all in. You’re actually scared of starting because you question whether you’ve got what it takes to be successful and see things through.
The truth is, your soul is calling you to your greatness. You have genius to share with the world and you need to trust yourself and grow your confidence.
Trust that all of those things you’ve taken on and tried in the past are all part of the big picture not to be taken in vain. You were led to those things because they had lessons for you.
Try challenging yourself to step away from spending on new ideas and instead use the money you have to follow something through. How does it feel to commit to something through to completion?
You can get lost in art and creativity for hours without even noticing.
Creativity is the most important thing to you in life. However, you don't believe that creativity and money can work together.
You spend a lot of time in contradiction as you know you need money to move forward in life but you convince yourself that money isn't important and that it's part of what makes you a good creative to be broke.
Art is all that matters and when you don’t get your fair dose of creative, artistic time you honestly begin to dislike life as a whole.
You feel lost without creativity and when you don't have it you feel completely disconnected and uninspired by the world. Unfortunately, you probably carry the starving artist code which comes from many places including society, Hollywood, parents, family, teachers and education based on historical artists.
News flash... ART IS AND CAN BE VERY EXPENSIVE AND THERE ARE MANY VERY WEALTHY ARTISTS. Are you secretly holding a belief that a struggling artist is somehow a better artist?
Take some time to study creatives who are wealthy and have made money doing what they love. Does this make them a worse artist or are they still creating great work?
You know who you are, you often say out loud “I’m a realist” and that makes you feel more intelligent than “the dreamer”.
You believe that the way you see the world is the only way it can be seen. You favour logic over dreams.
Unfortunately, your ego tends to skew the truth. You see in black and white and you truly believe the delusion that you’re right and everybody else and their opinions are stupid. This actually causes personal disconnection and relationships are held at bay and may be lacking intimacy.
You may find yourself talking other people's ideas or excitement down as you come in with the 'real facts', and you don't realise that this in itself is having a negative effect on your own finances. How can they grow if you are constantly sticking to what's deemed to be realistic to you?
Your judgments and square thinking keep you in a state of lack and you never give yourself time to dream.
You see what’s in front of you and nothing more. Most often, self proclaimed “realists” are very uninformed of their actual money situation because they just hide behind the realist label. Do you know your true monthly cost of living? Have you ever tracked your money incoming and outgoing for at least three months?
Do you often end conversations with - well, “I’m a realist so”..?
Be careful that you're not actually just being negative.
Try this - the next time you have a friend or family member come to you excited about an idea that you deem as being unrealistic, try biting your tongue. instead of poo-poo-ing their idea, get excited with them and see how it feels!
You have done it all correctly. You probably got all the best grades at school, you've checked out all the interest rates and followed all the rules. But you're not having any enjoyment with your money. Things need to make sense 'on paper' to you. You are likely to be very risk averse.
You have done it all by the book and yet, for some reason you’re bloody miserable. You lay awake at night wondering where it all went wrong. How did it turn out this way?
You once had incredible dreams and now those dreams seem like long hours, and not a lot of time or energy for friends, family and fun. You don’t even have money leftover after all of this work and doing it perfectly! This is not what you were promised and certainly not how you thought it would turn out. Life feels a bit more like a slap in the face right now than a joyful experience.
You may be dealing with anxiety, insomnia, and even depression. Know this: all of that skill and talent that you house can also free you! You don’t have to work this hard and you can make more money doing something that serves you better. Don’t forget that you can change directions and happiness can be served on your plate!
Try planning your dream vacation without being held back by what's most sensible or the best value for money. Instead, look at what would be the most fun!
You dream, you daydream and you imagine great things. Have you watched The Secret? I bet you have!
You have ideas that go on forever and you know in the deepest part of your soul that can create amazing things if you could just implement and focus.
You totally get how manifestation works and you believe that if you dream big enough, anything is possible. What you may be missing is the action part. You wonder why all of your big dreams are not manifesting into real life situations. After all, you wrote yourself a cheque for a million pounds and visualised it every day, so where is it?!
Urrgh! It drives you crazy actually because you can see the picture of what you want to create so vividly in your mind. Feeling stuck is an understatement for the dreamer. You have put in all the dream work and yet nothing is happening.
Try balancing action with vision - when combined, they are unstoppable. You are here to do amazing things and you know it!
Look at something you have in mind that you're trying to bring into fruition and actually sit down and work out what the first logical step could be to making it happen. And then TAKE IT!
Where did it all go? You had 1k yesterday and now it’s gone!
You just can’t understand where the money goes. It’s like it does its own disappearing act when you’re not looking. You may find yourself saying that money is 'slipping through your fingers' or that it's hard to keep hold of.
It's likely you spend more time feeling frustrated and disoriented by your situation than you do finding solutions - in fact, you never even thought about a solution, you focus solely on the disappearing act and just making more, which disappears again... and again... and so it goes.
The illusionist lives in a cycle of illusive abundance that leads to debt. You think you have money that isn’t there and you might have no real clue what your true cost of living is. For example, you think your cost of living is 2k a month but you make 4K a month and still never have any money left over. You live in an illusion of what you want to see instead of sitting down to the truth of the expenses you have in your life.
The bonus of being an illusionist is that once you master your magic, you can flip it the other way where money begins appearing out of nowhere and you always have money leftover. This comes with a level of honesty and commitment mixed with creative magical energy.
For a week, try documenting every purchase. Look at all of your accounts and get a proper overview of where you are REALLY at with your finances. Once you see the reality of your situation you will be able to make a plan to keep money sticking around for longer!
There is no doubt about it, you can manifest money like nobodies business! Every time you need something, it seems to appear. You have had scary situations crop up before but they always seem to resolve themselves at the last minute.
You may have an interest in the spiritual side of money and understand the workings of the moon and stars and the laws of the universe.
You live a pretty great life and you always have what you need. You are confident and spiritual and you might think of yourself as a wonderful witch of white magic.
The problem for the alchemist is feeling like they can show their true colours in the world. You tend to be introverted and enjoy your little bubble that basically includes you, a bathtub, notepads and books, oh, and your family and friends (one or two people that you really trust is more than enough).
But in order for the alchemist to truly embrace their full money potential they must learn to share their knowledge, magic and wisdom with the world. Being on social media is like work for you so growing your souls work is a bit tricky. The alchemist can turn thoughts to things. Are you ready to grow and come forward confidently as a master teacher?
Now it's time for you to put a strategy to your random magic. How about creating a list of 4 things that you want to manifest this year and think about the first step that needs to happen to make each a reality. I bet you'll find as soon as you take the first step, magic starts to happen!
There is no denying it, you're paralysed by fear. You hardly ever take money risks and you always feel like you're going to mess up your finances. You're not good at making decisions for yourself, especially when it comes to money.
The anxiety rushes through your veins like a high voltage electric current and you just can’t! Well, that’s what you tell yourself. You probably grew up in an environment where the people around you had high anxiety and they moved so fast and rushed everything that you never actually got to make a decision for yourself.
You were never given the space to make decisions actually, you actually have never listened to yourself think. So the idea of making a big decision paralysed you.
It is important that you take your time when making decisions but trust that you can.
Think slow, consistent, focused movement, one step at a time, one thing at a time which will feel like torture to you and your squirmy monkey fast paced mind. It will be extremely valuable to you to teach yourself to slow down and receive.
Try this - think about one thing you've always wanted to purchase or invest in. It might be an amazing experience or it could be an item that you've always told yourself you shouldn't buy. Commit to making that something that's on your horizon in the near future. Set a goal with a date as to when you'll have it by, and set a timeline with steps to make it happen.
You are highly spiritual and somewhere along the way, you took on the belief that it is better to desire nothing and it is more moral to not have money or think about money.
Perhaps you feel guilty whenever you have fleeting thoughts about how money could help you or others. You dismiss them and try to find ways to achieve the goal without finances being involved.
You somehow think that having less and desiring less helps the world and makes you more enlightened. But understand this, abundance is your birthright, being poor doesn’t make you a better person and living your best life is actually a spiritual act and when you have wealth you can actually help more people rise.
Poverty has never been beaten by focusing and nurturing poverty mindset just as healing has never occurred by focusing on disease. You may also be stifling your magic and ability to manifest because you deeply believe that money and wealth is not good and spiritual. We hope you see that that is not true and that you can take all of that spirituality and use it to create a wildly abundant and happy life.
You are worthy of that. Money doesn’t make people bad, it exaggerates what you are. If you’re a loving, kind, generous person, you will make an amazing steward for money and will support the evolution and balance of finances in our future on this planet. When you allow riches into your life, you allow more for all. Let that sink in.
Why don't you try thinking about a cause that you have wanted to be a part of or contribute in some way to. How could money help you achieve this and help more people? Make a list of what you could do with £10k if it showed up in your account tomorrow. Who could you help and how?
You will do just about anything to avoid responsibility especially when it comes to things related to money. You might find you have some form of social anxiety and that supports your need to escape situations.
Maybe you never had to take care of anything thanks to your parents / friends / partner / employer.
Some might say you have it easy because you don’t have any responsibilities but on the inside you're truly just not sure how to be responsible. You’d rather just somebody else take care of the details.
At heart you love your freedom and you’ve tricked yourself into believing that that’s what you have. The truth is you have debt that you don’t want to look at because it makes you feel like a failure. When you do look you just want to run the other way. This causes tension and weird forms of resentment in all of your relationships. Addictions may also be present as a form of escaping responsibility.
What you need more than anything is to learn (yes even as an adult) responsibility. Make decisions, because you need to learn to trust yourself.
Start by just facing your finances, track your spending, actual spending and write out where your debts stand along with their interest rates. This will few like a bit of a shock at first but with will and determination, you can and will become a master of your life.
