  You got soccer. One of the most popular high school sports, we have members of every class play. Our men's teams play in the fall, while women's play in the spring. Both teams have been dominant over other schools in the past couple of years. They play for their team and not their own statistics.

Although they don't win much, our football team is the heart and soul of our Apex athletics.

  You got tennis. Although not widely known, tennis is a very dominant sport in our school. Played in the spring, our women's team went undefeated this past year. Men's also played very well. Tennis is a great sport to try if you are looking for something a little different.

  You got baseball and softball. Our JV and Varsity teams play in the spring. Considered America's pastime, our baseball and softball teams have new coaches in Tyler Drew and Ryan Rodgers. Baseball and softball have many different skills attained to them, including batting, fielding, and throwing.

  You got golf. A very passive sport, it requires a decent amount of skill. Our women's team plays in the fall, whereas our men's team plays in the spring. They compete in tournaments on courses all around the county, including country clubs such as Macgregor Downs.

  You got volleyball. Our volleyball teams play in the fall. They have performed very well in the past couple of years. Though not one of the most popular sports, volleyball is very competitive and team-oriented. You must give your all and not be selfish on the court.

  You got swim and dive. Many students don't know that we have a swim and dive team that competes all around the triangle. It is very competitive and can be done in relays or solo events.

  You got track and cross country. Played in the fall, it mainly consists of running. Coach Cooper has been the coach for a very long time and is one of the best in the state. He pushes his team to the limits so they can be the best they can be.

  You got lacrosse. Our teams have been insane over the years. JV went undefeated last year and varsity was extremely successful. Led by legendary coach John Hayden, our lacrosse team is extremely dangerous and a force to be reckoned with.
