  After glancing at you, he asks not impressed:  "What is the purpose of your visit?"

    Just getting some supplies and some rest. This is just a travel through.

    Revenge, friendo. I am here to find some answers.

    This is none of your business, step aside.

    I heard there are some unique night activities going around in this town. I am here to explore this.
• 3.
  He lets you through. This is it, the last key in your journey is somewhere in this city. Then you can try to stop and kill the Necromancer and his rotten mind, which destroyed half of the southern kingdoms, including everything you had and everything you ever wanted. The last hint you got, said you needed to visit next:

  • A.
    The Half Headed Tavern, a popular place for criminals in this town somewhere in the northern parts of the city.
  • B.
    An over 140 year old wizard, who fought in the last Necro-War. He was banned after the war from the southern kingdoms because of denying to stop studying necromancing and "misbehavior with some maids".
  • C.
    The Cathedrale of Kmab.
  • D.
    Your contact person, which ranged everything for you. But first things first, let's explore this city and take a look at the chests in this city, if you catch my drift. 
• 4.
  After encoutering some "troubles", you finally got the "Grey Light", a powerful artefact which can put the necromancer into a stasis sleep for the next 500 years. You are plan is: 

  • A.
    I will use the "Grey Light" and put him under the earth in a metal box, so he can't escape, even after 500 years.
  • B.
    After he is in stasis I will cut him into 1000 pieces and feed him to the sea.
  • C.
    I will ask the remaining southern kings and queens to deal with him, after I stopped him.
  • D.
    500 years? Shall be enough, to return and rebuild my own life. Someone else can deal with him after that time, I already lost so much and did more than anyone would have.
  • E.
    I will use the grey light to put control over the necromancer and force him to work for me. So I can use him for my own goals and vision for the future.
• 5.
  The next day, prepared for the finale battle you are leaving the city. The necromancer is currently in the castle of your home kingdom. You know that there is a secret passage to the casle, to pass most of the guards and the unholy army of dead. But you will need help to enter his throne room, remade completely of human bones. What help do you get:

  • A.
    I will ask the Imperial Eastern Army to help me. A dozen of their best will work fine. They will gladly help to stop the Necromancer. 
  • B.
    I will use all favours I have, to assemble a small group of talented misfits.
  • C.
    I am one person army. But I need some canon fodder. I will use my money to convince some locals to follow me.
  • D.
    I will search for others like me, who might have the same goal. Will take some days, but at least they know what the stacks are.
  • E.
    I will use "my charme" to get some followers around me.
• 6.
  The question now is how to get back to the south. It took you weeks to get here and you had to travel on land, because the southern harbours are blocked by the Imperial Eastern Fleet.

  • A.
    Getting out was the problem, no one will care if I try to get in. Let's get a ship!
  • B.
    Let's use some magic! This town is the capital of knowledge, there will be some way, maybe a magic wardrobe.
  • C.
    Travel on land will take time, but it might be the safer option.
  • D.
    Joining the Imperial Eastern Navy Korps and trying to get on the next supply ships for the south, might be a smart move.
• 7.
  [The last night] You are now in a small village two hours away from the castle. Because the Necroarmy avoids daylight, you decided to use the daytime to enter the throne room. How do you spend the last night:

  • A.
    Getting drunk and enjoying the company, it might be last night after all.
  • B.
    Checking the details of the plan and use the time to check on the others.
  • C.
    Getting a bit tipsy, enjoy the thought of your revenge and the last hours
  • D.
    Getting ready for your revenge. Finally you can set things right.
  • E.
    Getting some sleep.
  • F.
    I will try to get lucky in the local tavern. If I fail I will just go back, check on things, you know, polish my sword or stuff my quiver, before getting some rest.
• 8.
  [The next day] Everything worked like you planed it. You are now alone close to the throne room, as you set one foot in it, the Grey Light starts to glow. You see how the undead Guards are falling to dust in the room, while the Necromancer is falling from his throne struggling in pain. Before you can take out the Grey Light from your bag, the Necromancer tries to say something to you:

  • A.
    I will let him speak, he shall have his last word for at least the next 500 years
  • B.
    I will end this right now and forever!
  • C.
    I will let him speak, but I am vigilant and ready to use the Grey Light at any moment.
• 9.
  Before you can act on your thought, suddenly you can't move and the voice of the necromancers is in your head. He says:

  • A.
    "There can be no life without death. I am just here to bring balance. Your kind is the threat to this world not my kind. I am restoring the balance by reducing your kind's power over all us non-creatures like the trees, the stones and the winds, who are neither death or alive. It is only your nature that you want to stop me and this you shall have, but you shouldn't destory me. If you destroy me, there is no future and your kind will end this world, eating the last animal, burning the last tree and poisoning the last lake."
  • B.
    "Do you know how lonely life is, if you are surronded by undead people with half a rotten brain? From time to time I need "fresh" servants. If you spare me, I will go back to my lands. I will also restore all the people who died, those you lost as well."
  • C.
    "Do you know how long 20 million years are? I do. This is at most a joke to me. I am just passing time by.  And if you think you can destroy me, good luck. How many times do you think others tried? How long was the last war ago? 100 or 110 years, I don't know it feels like last monday to me. But if you want, I can offer you way more than trying to destoy me will give you. Here is the deal, join me, I will give you 1.000 years to live and a kingdom of your own. Take the deal or just use the Grey Light so that I can be reborn in 500 years, in a world where nobody will even remember you. Choose."
  • D.
    "Honestly, I am just a fun guy, we just got on the wrong foot. All I want is feeling alive again. We are not that different, this necromancing stuff of mine, it is just a free lancing passion. I see you are a fun person in your mind and heart. Here is the deal, keep the Grey Light in a more convient box as a safety close to you and I will show you what fun we can have in this world. Undeadly endless options of fun my friend. What do you say?" 
• 10.
  You can see him struggeling stronger by the effect of the light and you can move again. You decide to:

  • A.
    Use the Grey Light to put him immedately into stasis sleep for at least 500 years and afterwards you will try to stop him to come back out of it. This might take years of your life, but there is no other option.
  • B.
    Use the Grey Light to control him and force him to work for you. With his powers you can change everything. You rebuild the Southern Kingdoms and even reclaim the other parts of the shattered Empire back.
  • C.
    Accept his deal (if he offered one)
  • D.
    Use the Grey Light and leave him there, so that he can wake up in 500 years.
  • E.
    Don't use the Grey Light and just leave him.
