Holistic? What's that?
You're lacking at least one of the holistic high-performance categories. As a result, you're unable to show up at your best in all of life's arenas. Even worse, if you haven't already experienced burnout, you may be on your way.
You may fall into one of two categories:
You're experiencing high performance in one arena of life (work) but lacking in life's other arenas - socially, emotionally, mentally, physically, spiritually, personally.
OR
You don't feel like you're thriving in any of life's arenas. From lack of priorities and self-care practices to exhaustion from stress and anxiety, you want to go from surviving to thriving but you're not sure how.
If either of these sounds like you, don't worry! You can start moving towards thriving in all of life's arenas today.
There are five components to holistic high-performance:
CORE, CLARITY, CONFIDENCE, CONSISTENCY, and CONNECTION
You need all five to thrive in all of life's arenas. Below are three simple ways you can start experiencing holistic high-performance today.
Three tips for experiencing holistic high-performance
CORE/CLARITY/CONSISTENCY (triple threat!): Elevate your morning routine by starting your day with 10 minutes of stretching and deep breathing and 10 minutes of intention setting. Ask yourself the following questions to bring more intention to your day.
What are three things I want to achieve today to make move towards my goals
What might hold me back from achieving those three things?
If those barriers arise, what can I do to overcome them to achieve my goals?
CONFIDENCE: Next time your inner critic speaks up, ask yourself, "What would I say to a friend right now?" Take a deep breath, then speak to yourself with compassion as you would your friend.
CONNECTION: Think of a friend or loved one you could surprise with a note of appreciation. Go old school; send them a letter telling them how much you appreciate them and WHY today.
