I am a great mom
Hey momma! If I had to guess, reading this mantra probably felt like a big fat lie right!? It might have even turned your negative self talk up really really loud and it started listing all the ways that you’re not a great mom. All the mistakes you’ve made, the times you lost your patience with your kiddo(s), things like that. But you know what that tells me?
It tells me that you have lots of practice finding examples to back up the things you tell yourself, and believe it not, that’s actually a great thing! I know, I know, this sounds soooo weird right now but hang in there with me! For all the things your brain can find to back up the false belief that you’re a bad mom, we can actually start to use that power for building you up instead of tearing you down.
When you start to hear in your head that you’re a bad mom I invite you to pause, take a big deep breath and say this mantra out loud. And then list 3 things that make you a great mom. They’re there, I promise, we just need to practice redirecting your brain to find the good things instead of all the bad ones.
And we can help encourage you along the way! Click below to learn how!
