Infectious Autoimmunity
According to Dr. Sanders, multiple infections within the body add stress onto the immune system. This extra stress makes your immune system dysfunctional. Infections can be asymptomatic, and they can be found in the gut, the lungs, the mouth, the genitourinary tract, the sinuses, the joints, and more. We suggest our functional stool microbiology test and/or blood testing to find where these infections are coming from and how to remove them. Examples of infections that can trigger autoimmune disease are Lyme, mycoplasma, Epstein Barr Virus, Cytomegalovirus, Yersinia, ,Prevotella, P. gingivalis, Citrobacter, and more.
