Engaged
People are engaging with you. Your DMs, your email list, or your followers/subscribers may not be where you want them to be yet, but you’re building a really good foundation.
Keep building! You’ll want to keep focusing on engagement becaus:
engagement creates connection and
connection increases the know, like, and trust factor,
the know, like, trust factor creates clients.
To help you make sure you're doing your part to boost your engagement, here are my top five tips to boost engagement:
Get your people to start talking about themselves and then if it aligns, provide value around what they share with you.
State why/your goals for helping people
Engage with people who you want to link arms with
Pay attention to hashtags
Use elements that each social media platform is trying to promote (in Instagram, use videos via Stories with stickers, questions, etc) and IGTV.
Bonus: Clean up followers who aren't relevant. Don't wait for them to unfollow you. If they're not engaging and haven't for awhile, then block/unblock to reduce your follower count. A lower follower count can actually boost your engagement ratio.
