Maintenance Manatee!
You got the manatee! The manatee represents the maintenance stage of change. Congratulations, you improved your nutritional intake! Now you are working to maintain that progress. It is important to know that depending on what changes you made, this maintenance process might last for a few months, for years, or for the rest of your life. As your life/ schedule changes, adjustments to your plan will most likely need to be made. Which is okay! Take the time to assess how you can use what you have learned about nutrition into your new schedule. Assess what you have learned about your body and adjust when things don’t work out. It is okay to fall off track, it does not erase your progress. Relapse or mistakes are not failures! It is just part of the journey. For the most success, surround yourself with a support system.
