Preparedness
Have you heard from multiple exes that you were the one who got away?
Have your breakups mostly been because it was just time to part ways?
Have you invested time in consuming life-giving relationship advice?
If any of this is true for you, its probable that PREPAREDNESS was one of your higher scores.
Your Preparedness score is a measure of your ability to thrive in dating and relationships. The higher your score the more equipped you likely are with the emotional, mental and relational tools to build a healthy relationship such as active listening, healthy communication, vulnerability, reciprocation, conflict resolution, etc.
PRO TIP: Do not confuse PREPAREDNESS with READINESS (readiness is your desire for love - and that's a separate score on this assessment). You can be fully prepared and completely unready. Think of it as having your bags packed, plane booked, and hotel reserved for a trip with absolutely NO desire to go anywhere.
If preparedness was one of your top 2 scores, you probably have a track record of fairly healthy relationships...not that they were perfect but they didn't leave you traumatized. Hurt? Yes. Disappointed? Maybe. Traumatized? No.
On the flip side...
Have your breakups been a trail of traumatizing or dramatic events?
Have your relationships been full of unanswered questions, bickering, or regret?
Do you not have any or many exes because you've been uncoupled or with one person most of your life?
Do you look back at your past relationships and GENUINELY not fully understand what went wrong?
In your quest to understand how to make relationships work, have you dabbled in or considered a number of other alternative approaches to love, even though it wasn't really your preference?
If any of these are true for you, then its probable that PREPAREDNESS was one of your lower scores. PROCEED WITH CAUTION lol
If preparedness was one of your lower scores or didn't appear on your assessment results at all, this means there's a lot opportunities for you to grow - to learn HOW to do relationships better, how to pick healthier partners, and how to create a relationship that you don't have to SURVIVE from if it ends.
Its highly recommended that you engage in learning opportunities to learn healthier ways to navigate dating, courting and/or relationships etc before starting or continuing a relationship.
Listen, not many people have been taught HOW to "relationship" in a healthy way. A low Preparedness score isn't a "bad" thing or a failure. It's simply an opportunity to grow in this area of your life.
