Your Self-Sabotage is Perfectionism
As a perfectionist, you are an overachiever and overthinker. When you over think or over analyze your process, you do not complete the action you began to get your message, service or product launched. You then continue to spin your wheels and stay where you are.Working to make things so perfect that you do not make a decision or take action has kept you safe from vulnerability or potential harm, yet it is also holding you back from taking action and reaching the people you are here to reach. We know that you want to change lives and you want to do it with grace and love. What will be important for you is to be sure to write down things that you need to decide or take action on and then prioritize what you need to complete first. Give the most important items a 1 and the second most important items a 2 and do this ranking until you have prioritized your list. Then take action on your items with the number one. Over the next week, you can then move to your items with the number two. It will be important for you to set a deadline and engage an accountability partner, someone you will help hold you accountable. Be sure to take action in segments or sections. Remember, “Rome was not built in a day.” Be sure to always set parameters or boundaries for your research and engagement and then take action.Want to know more?
