Your child is an Active Eater!
Meals times are loud, messy, and high energy. But you likely don’t have trouble getting them to eat enough. Speed is the name of the game. As long as there is food they like, they’ll be the first one done.
An Active Eater tends to be hungry often, and can get “hangry” if meals and snacks do not have a good balance of protein, carbohydrates, and healthy fats. So make sure there are easy, balanced options on hand for them to eat every 2-3 hours. Healthy snacks are a MUST for Active Eaters to maintain stable blood sugar and stable moods. Remember, every child is unique.
Use the Eating Styles as an overall guide while also observing and honing in on your child’s bio-individual needs.
