Blame/Criticism
We don’t have to break this to you gently. You already know the truth. You are caught in the cycle of blame and criticism. There is nothing more toxic than a context of blame and criticism, and if you don’t do something about this, we’re afraid you’re going to burnout, or worse, get sick. It does not have to be this way, and you can do something about it. We know there are many intertwined forces that collude to keep you and your organization stuck in this rut. We don't expect anyone to have all their shit together all the time. It's unrealistic and it's OKAY to give yourself permission to not be perfect. That being said, it looks like you and your team could use a bit of a tune-up. Starting with eliminating any sense of entitlement that might exist and consciously replacing that with a culture of appreciation. It doesn’t happen overnight, and it may never change where you happen to work, but if that’s the case, maybe this isn’t the right place for you. If you'd like an overview of the four dynamics that we most commonly notice holding teams back, please check out this Facebook Live Becky recorded. This exercise is meant for you to face into a problem and more importantly begin to orient towards a solution.Lastly, we know that sometimes getting out of the weeds requires help. If you'd like to know how to work with the BI please schedule a meeting with Selena, our enrollment and relationships manager, on her calendar.
