Talking about money has always seemed to start with a negative of some kind and that feeling locks you away from continuing the conversation. Each time, talking about money has started with a negative and that feeling has held you back. Each time the conversations starts, it starts from the negative with statements like “I need to get out of debt”, “stop being a spender”, “I’m not good at math” or anything in between. The point here is that it’s always starting from the negative. How can a negative and depreciating feeling turn into something positive? The reality is that it doesn’t because we can’t appreciate ourselves when all we’re saying to ourselves is depreciating. To have a different result, let’s start with something different this time – the positive! Let’s start with your win! The first thing to do here is to acknowledge yourself! You’ve taken the hardest step of starting the conversation and being honest with yourself and starting the path forward. You don’t really like the financial conversation and you believed in yourself and your value when you took this survey! Now all that is left is to keep going! It’s time for real change through the start of a financial conversation that can truly belong to you.

You can feel “ok” but when you really connect to the way you feel, you notice that there are underlying negative emotions. You also don’t feel like there’s a true balance of how you earn, grow and enjoy your money. Some aspects feel alright, but others don’t match that. It can feel like there are puzzle pieces, but nothing seems to truly come together, fit and work together. This leads to the feeling that there’s something missing from the financial conversation – there should be something more. Well, you’re absolutely right!
