Your design style is Traditional!
Classic and timeless. Traditional style is classic, not trendy. It is a style that evolves but keeps grounded roots. You can mix vintage and antique finds with new pieces seamlessly to create a look that never goes out of style. There is a reason that you can visit places like London, Paris, Amsterdam, New York City, Chicago and New Orleans and find similar finishes such as white marble countertops, black and white tiles, beautiful moldings, dark wood or black cabinetry and chrome or brass hardware – these finishes are timeless, they endure. They don’t go out of style; they are not a fad. They are as beautiful now as they were 50 or 100 years ago, they are classic and have withstood the test of time. Traditional Style... so familiar... Thespruce.com notes that traditional style features furniture and accessories that are placed in pairs and centered in the room. There is nothing out of place or of a different style. Everything has the look that it goes together.Traditional rooms are not ostentatious but rather somewhat casual. Furniture pieces are often reproductions. Modern, eclectic pieces have no room in a traditional space. HGTV.com notes that traditional style is timelessly on-trend, it lends a sense of stability and collected-over-time charm to any indoor or outdoor space. While traditional style can sometimes seem formal — to really nail the look, choose elements that are comfortable, colorful and curated.Traditional style homes feel comfortable for any age group. It's a familiar look that you'd see in magazines or furniture showrooms.
