You got... Traditional Wedding!
You value spending time with the people around you and don't mind being the center of attention and a more traditional wedding would be perfect for you.Having all your loved ones surrounding you as you say your "I dos" and partying with them all night long might just sound like the perfect wedding for you.You probably already have a Pinterest board filled with images of your dream wedding. So go ahead and start planning it! One of the greatest challenges when it comes to a traditional wedding is other people's opinions... don't be afraid to say "no" to people who want you to do things their way.Three Tips to get you started on planning your traditional wedding1. Pick the three things that are most important to youWhat are 3 things you have always dreamed of your wedding having? Write them down (in order) and then DO NOT compromise on these 3 areas. Maybe it's a venue you've always wanted to get married at. Maybe it's a photographer you love and have always wanted to photograph your wedding. Maybe it's a wedding dress you've always wanted. Maybe it's a certain person you need to have with you by your side as you get married. Whatever it may be, you can set your date based on the availability of that person or place.2. Set a budgetHow much can you afford to spend on your wedding day? Are your parents paying for all or part of it? If so, talk to them about their budget. Write down your budget and organize it based on ceremony, photo + video, reception, florals, entertainment, beauty and attire, invites, décor, and other. The average wedding in Canada costs nearly $30,000.3. Create a guest listWho do you want to be there by your side as you say "I do"? How many guests can you afford to have? Keep in mind each guest will cost you roughly $50-100 for catering, seating, favours, invites, and more. This is often the hardest part in planning a wedding and when you will hear many people's opinions. But know that you aren't obligated to invite anyone to YOUR day. Send out invites to all the people you want to be there.Let Me Introduce Myself...Hey, I'm Liv 👋 I'm your adventure elopement + intimate wedding photographer.
