Your dosha is... Pitta
Your fire burns hot, friend! You're driven, determined, and hardworking as heck. Friends look up to you for your focus 'cause when you've got a target in your sights, you don't stop till you've struck it. This means you've likely achieved more than most peeps your age.So what is your hold up? Your fire can burn out fast if you don't give it enough fuel. Sometimes you get so locked onto your big goals you forget to cover the basics, too: eating well, getting enough sleep, and exercising.Body features: Normal size, thin warm skin, with frecklesPhysiology: Great appetite and thirst, enough sweat and odor, strong digestion, tendency to have diarrheaBiochemistry: Average body mass, normal wastePsychology: Good memory, little tolerance, adventurous, passionateWeakness points: Stomach, Skin and HeartNutrition tips:A Pitta individual does well with fresh, cooling foods. They have trouble skipping meals because they tend to have strong appetites. Because they also have strong digestive systems, they tend to tolerate raw foods better than the other doshas. But, they must be careful to avoid hot foods, alcohol, caffeine, irritability, high aggression, and anger because these will create too much pitta and weaken the digestive system.Flavors:Sweet, Bitter and AstringentCold mealsHeavy mealsRecommend giving up coffee, alcohol, spicy, acidic and salty foodsLifestyle as MedicineThe ideal environment for a pitta individual is cool and dry. Cold weather sports like skiing and ice-skating or early morning exercise is best. Sweet scents, melodic music, and sweet emotions are also good "medicines" for Pitta. A daily, 10–20 minute, gentle self massage with warm sunflower oil will cool the heat of Pitta and support you to surrender and "go with the flow" rather than using your will to force the flow.Wait... Please allow me to introduce myself!Hey! My name is Charise... I'm a Yoga teacher and Ayurvedic health coach. I became interested in health and wellness when I was diagnosed with Lupus SLE in 2009.
