Your Assertiveness Report
Your Score and What it MeansYour assertiveness level is low. People can lack assertiveness for many reasons: job role, past experiences, low self-esteem or stress.Lack of assertiveness can be seen as a form of self-doubt. Those with low levels of assertiveness often find it difficult to express their feelings openly, which can have a negative impact when trying to build relationships in the workplace or personally. Humans also can’t read minds, so if you don’t share your opinions or feelings, you might find them going unmet. You may have personal obstacles that prevent you from being more assertive. These could include thinking that your needs don’t matter, uncertainty around what you want or insecurity about your abilities – also known as imposter syndrome. Repeated behaviour of low assertiveness in the workplace can make it difficult to switch your mindset.
