Your relationship with technology needs a bit of work.
Technology is something that you struggle with and it can sometimes be hard for you to put your phone away and step back into the real world. Don't worry we have all been there. Technology is hard to cope with but with a bit of self love and some very important boundaries your relationship with tech will be great in no time!Boundaries are a big ‘yes’ for me. Taking care of yourself and setting boundaries and rules over your use of devices is so important to improve your mental health and you should be a priority!It can be hard to put a screen down when we feel so much social pressure to be doing, doing, doing and to know exactly what everyone else is doing. No wonder it's hard to not get caught up in the buzz! However, we'd all be so much happier and more productive if we knew when to log off and put the devices away. Listen to you body and mind when it comes to your screens, putting them away when you need to. I even suggest not going on social media for a few weeks to bring you back into the real world. “Don't ever compare your living, breathing, beautifully imperfect real-life human self to someone else's controlled online content. — The Nook Ready to fix your relationship with technology? Try these 3 strategies...1. Take a digital detox! As I mentioned above taking a digital detox from social media, or even all technology for as long a you need or can is so helpful. You get out into the real world more, physical tech-related symptoms will begin to reduce and your mental health will thank you for it!2. Set some healthy boundaries! Take a good look at your relationship with technology and work out what you would like to change. Maybe it's late night scrolling or spending hours online a day. Then set boundaries so you stop doing these things, such as having no phones in your bedroom.3. Start doing an activity that doesn't use technology at all! This will help you to become less reliant on technology and soak in all of the in-person things that life has to offer. Try activities such as running, painting or dancing, they are a lot of fun and don't involve a screen. Win-win!Hello, friend!
