You’ve established a great foundation for your English skills, but you need more challenging practice to improve your fluency and accuracy in a professional environment.Your language skills are quite developed, but to teach yoga in English confidently and effortlessly, you know there’s more work to do. At the moment you may notice that you can use words and grammar structures correctly, but you’d like to speak more fluently, using expressions, idioms and phrases like native speakers do. You can speak about many different topics, but you feel limited in your vocabulary and knowledge of synonyms. When you speak, you can make yourself clear, but find it difficult to express yourself in topics you aren’t so familiar with. You’re still making some errors and would love to improve your knowledge so that you can use appropriate vocabulary and language structures. To level up your communication skills, we recommend starting with the fourth and fifth chapters of the Yoga Vocabulary Builder: Verbs and Adjectives. It’d be a good idea to revise the asana names, body parts, prepositions, and language for movement. These are the categories of words you need to know to start teaching yoga in English. Then continue with physical sensations and ethics that will help you make your classes, cueing and communication more complete.Gradually, you can make progress by following the Yoga Vocabulary Builder in chronological order.
