Emotional self-care is the process of bringing our awareness to our emotions and taking the steps necessary to acknowledge, reflect on, process, release, and honor these emotions. For many of us, it's not natural. You may tend to ignore your emotions or repress them in the hope they will disappear. The first step is allowing yourself to feel. Give yourself that permission. Anything that will connect you to your heart, deepen your relationships and encourage support, love and kindness in your life will help you answer your needs for emotional self-care, "Love cures people. Sit quietly and allow yourself to feel. Allow yourself to cry, to yell, to laugh. Feel where in your body emotions like fear, shame, disgust, sadness, worry live, and how they feel energetically. 2) Reflect on which of your relationships are the most nourishing and loving for you. Plan to spend more time with these people. 3) Journal on your feelings, channel them through music and art. share with a trusted friend or consider some coaching, counseling, or therapy.Hey!
