Let's explore other options.
While I believe that combination feeding can work for most families, sometimes it isn't the best option. Some families may be better off exclusively formula feeding, while other others can continue exclusively breastfeeding. Here is a way to simplify it:Are you producing enough breastmilk to meet your baby's demands? If the answer is no and baby is not gaining weight OR if you have tried all the things to boost supply, yet it is not working - combination feeding or exclusively formula feeding are good options.I always like to remind families that exclusively formula feeding is a GREAT option, too. Your baby will grow, develop and thrive because they have a parent who loves them and cares for them.If you're breastfeeding and things are going fine with your supply, your baby and your mental health, no need to combo-feed or exclusively formula feed unless it is your choice to do so.If you need help, message me!Disclaimer: this is not medical advice and does not replace an official evaluation with your baby's medical provider. You should discuss all information with them prior to making any changes for your baby.Stay connectedWant to learn more about combo-feeding or exclusively formula-feeding?Check out my blog
