Your diet is... Paleo
Congrats, friend! By completing this quiz, you've shown your commitment to losing weight and living your happiest, healthiest life. According to your responses, the paleo diet is your perfect fit, and the keto diet is perfect for you! It depends on which way you want to go.What's the difference? Aren't they the same? The paleo diet gets its name from the Paleolithic era, wherein cavemen and women lived a hunter-gatherer lifestyle and stuck to a diet of lean meats, fruits, vegetables, nuts, and seeds. On the paleo diet, you'll cut out wheat, dairy, and refined sugar and return to a simple diet of clean foods. You can expect weight loss, lower blood pressure, and better appetite management.Keto is very similar to Paleo. The only difference is that the Keto diet emphasizes a high-fat, low-carbohydrate approach, while the Paleo diet focuses on whole, unprocessed foods similar to what our ancestors consumed. Both diets eliminate processed foods, grains, and refined sugars. However, the primary distinction is that the Keto diet specifically aims to achieve a state of ketosis, where the body relies on fat (ghee, butter, avocados) for fuel instead of carbohydrates. This involves consuming a very low carbohydrate intake, typically around 20-50 grams per day, and increasing the intake of healthy fats.In contrast, the Paleo diet does not strictly regulate macronutrient ratios and focuses more on food quality and avoiding modern processed foods. While there are similarities, it's important to note the differing emphasis on macronutrients and the state of ketosis in the Keto diet compared to the Paleo diet."Love yourself first, and everything else falls in line." β Lucille Ball.3 Easy tips for getting the most out of your diet...1. Fill up on fiberFibre is your key to feeling full! Why? It takes a long time to digest, and high-fibre foods often have fewer calories than their low-fibre counterparts. Clear out your cupboardsIt's easy to eat clean when you're not constantly tempted by the highly-processed snacks hiding in your cupboards. So once you've selected a diet plan and familiarized yourself with its rules, sort through your cupboards and throw out whatever doesn't fit. Trust me, the time it takes will be worth it in the end!3. Don't beat yourself upEverybody falls off the wagon now and again β it's so not a big deal!
