Boldly begin: imagine that your book has already been written. In this imaginal space, reflect back on the journey you took your readers on . . . What kind(s) of transformation did you help them achieve?What are the challenges and obstacles did you help them overcome and how did you do it? What kind of mentor/guide were you -- what was your style?In what way(s) were you able to inspire them: with pictures, quotes, stories, questions, by sharing your own journey? Let your ideas flow freely and collect them by writing, recording or drawing them out.2. Add to your authority by standing on the shoulders of giants. On a more practical and serious side, make a list of major topics and points that you might cover. Who do you admire that has something to say about these things? Use your list to go on a scavenger hunt to collect them!As you begin to gather quotes and anecdotes from them, be sure to keep track of the sources and where you found them!3. Get out of the way and play! Now that you've primed your unconscious mind, it's time to get out of the way, and let your unconscious mind do its thing. Thankfully, by turning to play, I tricked myself into writing, accidentally creating a method that enabled me to write more quickly and easily. It evolved into The Playtonium Way – a revolutionary brain-friendly process make writing simple, easy, and fun while incorporating all that I learned in my studies.
