Issues of Depression and Loss of Self
Depression is the body screaming for self care. Self care is reconnecting with yourself so you can do ANYTHING else. Therefore, self care is NOT selfish. It is NECESSARY. We need to reconnect with our bodies so we can process the anger, frustration, feelings of helplessness or hopelessness, etc. Then the healing can begin. Consider EFT tapping, yoga, meditation, journaling, etc.
