1940s Romantic, Bold, & Classic Singer
You are the romantic, bold, and classic vocalist who LOVES to share music!Like the classic singers from the 1940s, you’re drawn to the glamour and joy of singing. You enjoy the improvisatory aspect of music, and love the experience of sharing music with friends and your community. You may find yourself bursting into song when the mood strikes (and that’s wonderful!), but without a proper warmup, your voice might not always cooperate. Maybe you struggle with vocal agility—those little riffs and runs just don’t flow yet. And let’s be honest: on a rough day, the thought of singing in front of someone—anyone—can make you freeze. Here’s the good news: A simple, consistent warmup - just 10 to 15 minutes - is enough to set up your voice for success. I teach this warmup to all my students, and it works. Every time. And when you’re done with your warmup, call a friend (yes, at random!) and sing for them. Doing this regularly might make you nervous, but if you commit, slowly your confidence muscle will strengthen, and you’ll become more comfortable with singing no matter who is in the room. You’ll also have more fun!
