The Not Yet Girl
You probably know what you want more often than you realize. You have ideas. There are things you want to do, change, try, start, or make happen. And you’re not necessarily afraid of any of it.You’re going to do it.Just... maybe not right now. 😂Maybe when work calms down. When you have more time. When this other thing is taken care of. When life feels a little less busy. And honestly, all of those reasons can be completely valid. But I’ve been thinking about how easy it is for “not right now” to quietly turn into six months from now.Especially when the thing you want isn’t urgent. No one is waiting on you to do it. There’s no deadline. Nothing terrible happens if you keep putting it off, so it stays on the list.I think that’s what makes this pattern so easy to miss. You might not feel stuck. You might actually be really decisive in other parts of your life. You can make a decision, handle change, figure things out, and move pretty quickly when something needs your attention. But when it’s something you want just because you want it?That’s where “not yet” can sneak in.Maybe this isn’t about needing to trust yourself more. Maybe it’s noticing where you already know what you want and asking yourself why it keeps becoming something you’ll get to eventually.Something to notice: What’s something you’ve been saying you want to do, change, try, or make happen that you keep putting off until “later”?And... how long have you been saying that? You might already know exactly what I’m talking about. 😂What if you stopped waiting for someday? If there’s something you’ve wanted for a while but keep not quite getting around to, this is something we can explore together in a 1:1 session. Not from a place of “you just need to do it.”I’m way more interested in why you haven’t.Because sometimes there’s something underneath “I don’t have time” or “I’ll do it later” that we don’t see until we actually start looking at it.You bring me the thing you keep saying you’re going to do. We’ll start there and follow what comes up.I may use coaching, emotional clearing, energy work, meditation, breathwork, body awareness, or intuitive insight depending on what feels supportive for you.
