Steps to support the three pillars of life: mind, body, and soul...

Step 1: Mindfulness and meditation.

Take some time to breathe in and sip a lovingly prepared pot of tea made from herbs that are specific to what your body needs.

Light some incense or a candle.

Meditation is fast becoming an essential part of managing stress and illness in the modern world. What was once considered a practice for yogis, monks, and religious leaders is now common practice.

Creating a daily tea ritual is its own form of meditation.

The simplest concepts can be the most complicated to apply, especially if you approach it with the same habits that got you out of alignment.

Your body and mind are a team that are always working on your behalf but they need YOU to learn how to listen to their messages. If left to childhood conditioning and stress responses you could be blindly manifesting more of what you don’t want.

Create a quiet place to curl up with your favorite mug…

Healing is a process and a practice.

Make an altar or dedicated space with sacred talismans of intention like crystals, herbal burn bundles, and an essential oils diffuser. Just try a few suggested herb teas and before you know it you will have a unique set of healing allies at your fingertips.

2. Breathe...

Your breath is vibration set to the rhythm of the Universe. When you breathe deeply and intentionally every day you experience alignment with your divine power. Breathing in the earthy scented steam from your tea instantly sets the stage for calm and peace.

Breathwork, partnered with sipping tea all day, has been shown to accelerate the healing benefits of both. Learn more about how to combine Somatic Breathwork with herbal teas.

“The human body is sustained by the same prana that nourishes the universe.”

Hey there, curious tea-totaller

I’m Lynda Halterson and it’s been my mission to serve and lead the world to oneness with mother Gaia, our perfect home, for almost 20 years.

I haven’t always listened to my inner wisdom or slowed down enough to honor my body’s calls. In my mid twenties my body started to warn me of problems to come if I didn’t make big changes. Like many people I tried to ignore the signs and my quality of life declined. I had a defining moment when I heard my inner voice groan a primordial call for help to guides I wasn’t even sure were real. I had a diagnosis of multiple autoimmune conditions and I innately knew I wouldn’t find deep soul-level healing if I relied solely on mainstream allopathic modalities.

Thus began my obsessive gathering of ancient wisdom. I trusted in the Universe and answers started to flow to me as I gained strength and developed daily mindfulness rituals.

It’s my dream to nurture the souls whose paths serendipitously cross mine, so I started The Herbal Bounty Tea Company, wholesalers and distributors of small batch organic herbal teas and supplements from around the world.

Whether it’s one-to-one health coaching, custom herbal tea blends or group programs, I look forward to passing on all the plant wisdom I have learned along the way!

You’re the Blood Sugar Battler...

Your metabolism is telling you to try intermittent fasting combined with sipping herbal tea blends made from Japanese Matcha, Cinnamon, Bergamot, Turmeric, and ginger.

You’ve been working hard to regulate your weight and blood sugar. All the old standbys; calorie restricting diets and exercise, don’t seem to get you sustainable traction. Let’s face it, somedays you just give up and indulge in things you know aren’t helping you achieve your goals.

You’re in good company, millions of dieters are frustrated and going in circles trying to manage the battle of the bulge.

It’s not your fault, you didn’t get the right information, but all that’s about to change.

Did you know that there is a direct correlation between blood sugar and excess pounds?

Here’s the science: Insulin is the fat storage hormone and is triggered by rising blood sugar and eating .... You guessed it… CARBOHYDRATES a.k.a. SUGAR!

When food goes in your mouth a series of signals are sent to the brain to metabolize. Insulin shoots into your bloodstream to help shuttle the sugar to the right places. It’s a miraculous process that keeps your muscles from breaking down by the toxicity of sugar. The problem arises when you eat too many carbohydrates your body is forced to create hiding places to store insulin.

Enter the mighty microscopic fat cell, a storehouse of energy for the human body. Designed by thousands of years of evolution, your fat cells are holding life giving nutrients just waiting for a famine. If you keep putting carbohydrates (energy) into the mix the stored fat cells never need to be accessed and your body just burns breakfast.

Since the 1950’s there’s been some skewed info about nutrition. Did you know there is energy safely waiting around your belly and butt to be burned at your next dance party? You can become a super-healing-fat-burning-machine that doesn’t include torturing yourself at the gym or deprivation diets!

Time to team up with your fat cells and nature’s abundance to safely manage your weight and stabilize your blood sugar.

Check out this blog post on how to get started with fasting and tea blends that regulate blood sugar!

Japanese Matcha- Matcha has skyrocketed in popularity lately, appearing everywhere from health stores to coffee shops. It’s like green tea but comes from the Camellia sinensis plant and is grown differently with a unique nutrient profile. Matcha plants are covered 20–30 days before harvest to avoid direct sunlight. This increases chlorophyll production, boosts the amino acid content, and gives the plant a darker green hue.

Cinnamon- an aromatic spice derived from the bark of Cinnamomum trees and contains large amounts of antioxidants. One study showed that consuming 500 mg of cinnamon extract daily for 12 weeks decreased a marker of oxidative stress by 14% in adults with prediabetes. This is significant, since oxidative stress has been implicated in the development of type 2 diabetes.

Bergamot- You might be familiar with this aromatic herb because it’s found in delicious Earl Grey tea. Bergamot has proven to be particularly useful in assisting the reversal of metabolic syndrome which raises the risk of obesity related diseases.

Also known as Holigold, Calendula, and Maidens of the Sun is an excellent source of antioxidants. Rich in carotenes and carotenoids - the compounds responsible for the plant’s radiant colour. These phytochemicals are precursors to the production of Vitamin A. Dried blossoms and leaves steeped in hot filtered water make lovely mild tea.
