Its understandable, we all have busy lives with partners, children, pets, households, finances, jobs to contend with. But if you don't put your needs first sometimes and practice self-care it will affect both your physical and mental wellbeing.

Remember self-care isn't really about bubble baths and getting your nails done, its about looking after ourselves, drinking enough water, sleeping well, having some "me" time.

You are managing to put your needs first to some extent which is really good, but ideally if you can you need to try and look after the whole of your needs.

Often sleep, adequate hydration and exercise are the things that tend to get neglected, possibly because they seem more like work and the benefits aren't as instant as say meeting up with friends.

These are just as important though, and more so for your physical health as well as mental health.
