Take Quiz

It’s Friday evening after work, and you haven’t hit the gym yet today. You…

I do some yoga and mindfulness at home to get back on track for the next morning.

No biggie, I’ll just go for a walk after dinner.

I hit up the gym right away. I’ve been waiting all day for this!

Skip the gym today. It’s too late, and I’m exhausted from work.

You might be a fan of sports, but do you play any yourself?

No, but I’m super into group fitness classes!

I take on the speed-walking Olympics with my dog every night. Trying to keep up with him on a walk is its own sport!

I play one or more sports competitively. And win!

I’m not really into sports.

How do you feel about food?

Food is calories that build up. I have to watch my diet so I don’t gain too much weight.

Food is fuel. I eat a ton to keep up the energy for my sports.

I love food! I eat what I like and I eat to nourish my body.

I eat only what I need to sustain myself.

You get a job offer for a well-paying office job. Do you take it?

I would rather work from home.

I could make it work.

A job where I don’t have to get all sweaty and tired? Yes, please!

Heck no! I need to be up and active, not stuck at a desk.

Are you worried about your weight?

Nope!

I wouldn’t say worried, but I watch what I eat.

Yes, I’m trying to lose weight.

Weight isn’t as important as knowing I have a good level of fitness.

Have you ever considered meeting with a health coach?

Yes, but I don’t know where to start.

3 Tips for Better Health

1. Cut junk food. No matter what your eating habits are, we all eat junk food at some point. The trick is “how much.” A treat once in a while won’t hurt, but if a decent part of your diet consists of McDonald’s, it’s time to figure something else out.

2. Stay hydrated. You can go a month without food, but no more than a couple of days without water. Stay hydrated to keep your body functioning as it should. Dehydration is no joke! It messes with your sweat and saliva production, organs, and screws up your ability to regulate your body temperature.

3. Get active every day. If you’re not getting yourself up and moving your body every day, your results won’t be as awesome as you’d hoped. Day off? Do some stretches or go for a walk. Gym day? Push yourself. Going for a walk? Make every moment count.

You’re a Dieter!

If there’s anyone who knows which diet to try next, and how to eat for whatever your weight goals are, it’s you!

You’ve tried countless diets, and finally found one that’s working for you. Congratulations!

While you’re big into dieting, you might not be so present at the gym. Working out will help tone your body as it changes from the diet.

You’ve got great progress coming. Keep it up!
