Your power color is... Blue

You are thoughtful, intentional, and a deep thinker. You value and pursue the truth in all your endeavors and with the people you surround yourself with.

You are harmonious, peaceful, and trustworthy.

You need to be in or near water often to clear negative energy and recenter yourself. Just smelling the ocean or hearing the trickle of a stream triggers healing breaths and puts a smile on your face.

Blue is the color of robin’s eggs, The Aegean Sea, forget-me-nots, and an endless cloudless sky.

Brands that want to be most well-known for their durability, strength, or reliability will use blue in their logos. You like to strategize the best way to handle a task and can adapt when obstacles arise.

Personality Traits of Blue:

Dependable

Trustworthy

Gentle

Compassionate

Peaceful

Loyal

Strong

“Blue color is everlastingly appointed by the deity to be a source of delight.”

3 Tools To Help You Harness The Mood-Boosting Benefits of Color

1. Chakra breathwork meditation

Each chakra meridian is associated with a color. It might seem a bit woo, but stick with me here… Visualize a chakra color as you breathe in deeply through your nose — breathe out through your mouth — Work your way up from your root and imagine the colors as you ascend to your crown in the regal color of purple.

Essential oils and crystals can be wonderful tools to enhance this process.

Red is associated with your base chakra

Orange is your belly or sacral chakra

Yellow goes with your solar plexus

Green is your chest or heart chakra

Blue is your throat chakra

Indigo is your forehead and third eye

Purple is your crown chakra at the top of your head

Try this guided chakra meditation to connect with colors on a deep level!

2. Create awareness

Instead of speeding blindly through your day, going through the motions, start to notice the details that surround you. The produce section on your trips to the grocery store, a rack of scarves in your favorite boutique, shiny new cars lined up at a dealership, or the multitude of different greens on your walk through a park.

Learning to see your world according to colors turns everyday life into a walking meditation, a feast for the senses, and before you know it you will feel happier and more grounded.

3. Creative expression

No matter if you think you’re creative or not, creative expression is an innate part of being human. Treat yourself to a trip to an art supply shop, let your higher wisdom guide you, and come away with a bag of goodies! Aim for that thrill you got as a child from a new box of crayons. Try not to overcomplicate your journey into creativity but rather dial back your analytic mind and tune into your gut.

🖌️ Here’s some ways to play:

• Try your hand at paint by numbers but use bright contrasting colors instead of the ones that come with the kit

• Scribble with wax crayons and then paint watercolors over top

• Drop watercolors onto wet paper and watch it bloom

• Spread white glue on a board and sprinkle rainbows of glitter over it

The aim of the game is using color to expand your consciousness — not a finished masterpiece!

Your power color is… Green

Oh hey, my nature loving friend! You see the world through a lens of lushness, fertility, and growth. People are drawn to your generosity of spirit, like a walk in the park.

Two of the things that make the world go 'round are associated with the color green: nature and money. Green can signify growth, fertility, health, wealth, wellness, or generosity.

Surround yourself with abundant life, especially if life feels like it’s moving too fast. You will find peace and recentering walking barefoot on the grass and being close to trees.

Chartreuse, celery, forest, pistachio… explore tones and shades that speak to you and include them in your spaces and clothes.

Personality traits of green:

Practical

Down-to-earth

Loves to give advice

Loves to help others.

Finds balance in the outdoors.

“Absolute green is the most restful color, lacking any undertone of joy, grief, or passion. On exhausted men this restfulness has a beneficial effect, but after a time it becomes tedious.”

— Wassily Kandinsky
