Audience Archetypes for growth

In 2026, people don’t want to build businesses just to make a lot of money. This era of entrepreneur is growing revenue in a way that connects authentically to the audience and is more anchored in seeing transformation for the customer. I recently interviewed Jasmine Mariposa, founder of Women Rewoven, who explained how she’s growing her business using archetypes in a way that’s authentic, and also grows her membership community.

It started with Jasmine connecting the patterns she was seeing in her audience. She connects with her audience on Instagram, with strong follower growth and engagement year after year. When she talks to people who DM or schedule free calls with her, she noticed that there were commonalities between the types of people who were writing in and asking questions on calls.

So she turned these commonalities into 9 archetypes, that she can use to quickly identify what someone might need or how she can best help them based on their primary archetype. This enables more scale, since content, advice, and guidance can be tailored to each archetype.

The definition of an archetype is a persona that someone can immediately identify with. They see it and know “that’s me” or “that’s not me” which then allows you to more quickly begin a conversation about how you can be most helpful to that person.

She also formulated a quiz based on the archetypes, so people following her on Instagram can immediately identify which archetype they are, and how they can benefit most from Jasmine’s work.

Jasmine said that when people take the quiz, they feel like they’re having a conversation with her. And that was made possible because she first had the archetype in place. Then the quiz is simply asking questions to figure out which archetype someone is.

Jasmine’s quiz is an excellent example of connected business growth. People are joining her program, but only because they can see exactly how it helps them where they are today. Jasmine is meeting people where they are, recognizing their personhood, and then offering a way to be helpful to them. It’s fundamentally different than starting with a problem and offering a solution. She is starting with who the person is, and then from there, in a connected state, offering to help them reach their desired state of being.
