Your current fitness level means you are at risk for injuries from falling like broken bones and torn muscles as well as an increased risk of having one or more chronic illness such as diabetes, cardiopulmonary disease, asthma, arthritis, osteoporosis, and many others.
Your functional fitness is OKAY but you may be making modifications or doing things differently and not even realizing it. These "modifications" could be causing more harm than good because by avoiding doing certain activities or not using certain muscles, you will eventually lose those functions completely. Your muscles are a "USE IT OR LOSE IT" function that must be continuously activated in order to keep you healthy and independent.
