Quizzes are one of the top two ways to generate leads from Instagram (with the other being free webinars/classes). Today I want to show you some of the top quizzes used for lead generation on Instagram and demonstrate exactly how they are being used. All of these quizzes were created using the Interact quiz software platform, which is the quiz software the integrates directly with your email software for easy lead generation and segmentation.
These are the top instagram quiz examples, for a full guide on Instagram Quiz Strategy, I wrote this post.
Michelle Shapiro’s Histamine Quiz
I interviewed Michelle for the Interact Podcast, and the thing that really stood out about how she set up her quiz strategy was the questions that her quizzes highlight. They are unique, and address topics which are controversial, but not just for the sake of argument, they are truly nuanced topics. Then the quiz helps someone understand the topic for themselves. Very cool. Her quiz, just like many others on this list, uses a ManyChat automation to send people the quiz link if they comment on the post where she’s highlighting the quiz as the CTA.

Cristina Cleveland’s Interior Design Quiz
This quiz has been live for many years and is a pinned post on Cristina’s Instagram. It’s a really well done quiz, using a ton of imagery that represents the style options of the quiz really well. It’s a great experience, and has stood the test of time, being a diver of leads from Instagram for years.

The Habit Ayurveda’s Ayurveda Body Type Quiz
I interviewed Carly about this one, and she said the reel went viral to the tune of 4 million views. That led directly to 26,000 new email subscribers. It’s a great example because the reel itself is about how you can determine your Ayurvedic body type using a simple test, but then she also links the quiz where you can find your Ayurvedic body type through a more complex experience.

Dr. Tracy Dagleish’s Relationship Pattern Quiz
Dr. Tracy’s relationship pattern quiz has many angles to it, since it has to do with a topic most people can relate to in one way or another. She uses carousels and reels to highlight different aspects of the topic of relationship patterns, and then uses a ManyChat automation to link people the quiz if they comment. It’s a cool way of moving people over to an email list without too much disruption.

Paget Kagy’s Manifesting Quiz
Paget Kagy uses reels to point out different ways you may be manifesting from a less than ideal place, then links to her quiz that helps people find out what energy they are manifesting from. It’s a natural, and fun, tie-in that also generates leads.

Advice With Erin’s Career Quiz
I interviewed Erin about her quiz, and it has brought in over 140,000 leads to date. Her quiz, about finding your ideal career, connects with a question her audience members have been asking her forever. They have a nagging feeling that they are not doing the right thing with their career, and Erin’s quiz, which addresses that feeling head-on, is a huge hit.

Story Quizzes – Nutrition Stripped
Moving to a slightly different way of using quizzes on Instagram, this one is from Nutrition Stripped. It’s a quiz about eating habits, and is pinned to Mckel’s profile as a way of engaging people in story format.

Link in Bio Quizzes – Salary Transparent Street and Mrs. Dow Jones
Another alternative way to generate leads from Instagram with quizzes is by featuring them prominently in your link in bio. I’ve put a couple of examples of that below, where you have the link in bio for Salary Transparent Street featuring a link to their primary quiz using the built-in Instagram link in bio tool. Then you also have Mrs. Dow Jones’ quiz featured in her Komi link in bio.
