First, you’ll want to embed your quiz onto your website so you can send traffic from Facebook back to your domain for tracking purposes. Here’s the guide on how to embed into any page.

You’ll also want to set up Facebook tracking inside of Interact so you can optimize your ad campaigns for conversions (people who put in their email address in order to see their quiz results)

Once you have the quiz embedded, it’s time to set up the ad within Facebook ads manager.

Choose “clicks to website” or “conversions”



On the ad setup page, choose the conversion event called “Quiz” (to create the conversion event, go to “pixel” and then click “create conversion” and select “track custom conversions” then under “rule” select “even” and choose “quiz” We also recommend that you set up the ad to target a lookalike audience based off of your existing customers. Quizzes can be highly effective for generating leads when you target an existing audience.


Once you have your audience and targeting set up, it’s time to create the actual ad for the quiz. I usually go with the “single image option” and upload a screenshot of the quiz (optional: you can put a dark overlay on the quiz screenshot, which can increase conversions)

Now write the headline and copy for the ad. Keep it simple by making the headline the title of the quiz. I usually go with no call to action button, instead simply writing in “click to take quiz”
